Pro Engineer 0.5.2 — linux-x86_64
============================================================

A race engineer that says what to change, and where.

  https://proengineer.app/rg/

RUNNING IT

./rg_pro_engineer — nothing to install. If your file manager will not run
it, mark it executable: chmod +x rg_pro_engineer

Start the program, choose your simulator, press START, then start the game.
It reads the game's shared memory; there is no account and nothing is
  uploaded.

ON LINUX

Assetto Corsa runs under Proton, and its telemetry lives inside that Wine
prefix where nothing outside can see it. A small bridge runs inside the
prefix and mirrors it out. The program fetches and starts it for you:

Settings -> IN-GAME PANEL -> FETCH THE BRIDGE

You need protontricks installed — that is what runs a Windows binary inside
  a Proton prefix.

TRYING IT WITHOUT THE GAME

   ./rg_pro_engineer --demo

Every screen, driven by a made-up stint, with no simulator running. The
status bar says DEMO — MADE-UP DATA the whole time, because a screenshot of
invented numbers has to be recognisable as one.

Two more, if you need them:

--windowed open at 1280x800 instead of maximised
--framed give the window back its system title bar, for a desktop
that does not get on with borderless windows

There is no "--" on its own before these. That separator belongs to
"cargo run"; this is the program itself, so the flag goes straight on.

THE IN-GAME PANEL

Optional, and needs Custom Shaders Patch. Settings -> IN-GAME PANEL installs
it into the game folder and says what it found: whether CSP is there, which
version of the panel is installed, and whether it matches this build.

CHECKING WHAT YOU HAVE

SHA256SUMS beside this file holds the checksum of the program:

    sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS

The same checksums are published at
  https://proengineer.app/download/rg-pro-engineer.json, and the program
verifies its own updates against them.

WHAT THIS IS

Closed source and free. The core it is built on is public and AGPL:
https://github.com/Rgosh/ac-pro-engineer — everything that decides anything
lives there and can be read.
